Open a US bank account

Open your US bank account with Bolder Launch in 5 simple steps!

Step One: Complete our banking intake form 

Step Two: Provide your Know-Your-Customer documentation (if you are not a client yet), such as passport copy, proof of address, and your background information (such as CV, website, Linkedin, etc.) 

Step Three: In the case of a high street bank, such as Bank of America, a personal visit by the director can be required. It can also be required to obtain a tax number (EIN) before the meeting with the bank can be scheduled. Bolder Launch will schedule the meeting to open a US bank account, and if desired, we can assist you during the appointment (extra fees apply). In case of an online account opening, Bolder Launch can assist with the preparation of the forms. 

Step Four: The Know-your-Customer Department of the financial institution will process your application, and might request (more) background information. 

Step Five: Congratulations! Your US bank account is opened! You will get access to online banking. In the case of a high street bank, you might be required to visit the bank again to collect your debit card/PIN. 

Note: It typically takes 2-4 weeks to open a bank account. Bolder Launch will do its best to simplify the procedure, and ensure that the documents will be submitted to the financial institution quickly. We are not able to guarantee the timeframe or the success of the opening procedure.
